На запрошення нашого міста-партнера Хаапаярві (Фінляндія) представники Апостолівської громади відвідали Фінляндію, щоб познайомитися з досвідом фінських муніципалітетів, місцевого бізнесу, освітніх закладів та громадських ініціатив, а також продовжити розвиток партнерства.

Це був не просто офіційний візит, а насамперед - можливість побачити на власні очі, як працює громада, яка багато в чому стикається з тими ж викликами, але знаходить практичні рішення.

А також, нарешті, особиста зустріч після тривалого спілкування у режимі он-лайн.

Партнерство з Хаапаярві

Ми провели зустрічі з представниками міста, відвідали місцеві установи, освітні заклади та підприємства. Говорили про те, що сьогодні є важливим для Апостолівської громади: відновлення, водопостачання, енергонезалежність, освіту, розвиток молоді, залучення інвестицій та міжнародну співпрацю.

Досвід, який можна застосовувати у нас

Фінляндія показала нам багато рішень, які цікаві саме для українських громад: ефективне управління ресурсами, використання відновлюваної енергії, сучасні підходи до водопостачання, та залучення мешканців до життя громади.

Ми отримали ідеї, контакти та розумінням того, що з фінського досвіду можемо адаптувати до наших умов.

Освіта та молодь

Окрему увагу під час візиту приділили освіті та молодіжній політиці. Для Апостолівської громади це особливо важливо, адже майбутнє громади залежить від того, чи матимуть наші діти та молодь можливості навчатися, розвиватися, будувати професійне майбутнє та залишатися активними учасниками життя громади.

Ми побачили, як у Фінляндії школа є не лише місцем для навчання, а важливою частиною розвитку всієї громади.

THINK BIG 2026

Однією з ключових подій візиту стала участь у міжнародній конференції THINK BIG 2026 у Нівалі.

Це майданчик для зустрічі представників бізнесу, громад, експертів та міжнародних партнерів, де говорять про розвиток, інновації, енергію, підприємництво та нові можливості.

Для нас участь у THINK BIG - це передусім нові знайомства та нові горизонти для співпраці.

Саме такі заходи дають можливість українській громаді бути видимою на міжнародному рівні, розповідати про наші потреби та можливості й знаходити партнерів, які готові не лише підтримувати Україну, а й інвестувати у її майбутнє.

Що це означає для Апостолівської громади?

Для нас це можливість залучити нові ресурси та знання, знайти партнерів для проєктів, перейняти досвід інших громад і представити Апостолове як громаду, яка, попри війну та складні умови, планує своє майбутнє та готова його будувати.

Ми вдячні місту Хаапаярві за запрошення, гостинність, відкритість та готовність розвивати дружні й партнерські відносини з Апостолівською громадою.

At the invitation of our partner city of Haapajärvi, Finland, representatives of the Apostolove Community visited Finland to learn from the experience of Finnish municipalities, local businesses, educational institutions and community initiatives, and to further develop our partnership.

This was not simply an official visit. Above all, it was an opportunity to see first-hand how a community operates when facing many of the same challenges, while finding practical and effective solutions.

It was also a long-awaited opportunity to finally meet in person after a long period of communication online.

Partnership with Haapajärvi

We held meetings with city representatives and visited local institutions, educational establishments and businesses. We discussed what is important for the Apostolove Community today: recovery, water supply, energy independence, education, youth development, attracting investment and international cooperation.

Experience we can apply in Apostolove

Finland showed us many solutions that are particularly relevant for Ukrainian communities: efficient resource management, the use of renewable energy, modern approaches to water supply, and ways of engaging residents in community life.

We returned with new ideas, valuable contacts and a better understanding of which elements of Finnish experience can be adapted to our local conditions.

Education and youth

Education and youth policy were given special attention during the visit. This is particularly important for the Apostolove Community, because the future of our community depends on whether our children and young people have opportunities to learn, develop, build their professional future and remain active members of the community.

We saw how, in Finland, a school is not only a place for education, but also an important part of the development of the entire community.

THINK BIG 2026

One of the highlights of the visit was our participation in the international THINK BIG 2026 conference in Nivala.

The conference brings together representatives of businesses, municipalities, experts and international partners to discuss development, innovation, energy, entrepreneurship and new opportunities.

For us, participation in THINK BIG was first and foremost about making new connections and discovering new horizons for cooperation.

Events like this give Ukrainian communities an opportunity to be visible internationally, share our needs and potential, and find partners who are ready not only to support Ukraine today, but also to invest in its future.

What does this mean for the Apostolove Community?

For us, it means an opportunity to attract new resources and knowledge, find partners for future projects, learn from other communities and present Apostolove as a community that, despite the war and extremely challenging conditions, continues to plan for its future and is ready to build it.

We are grateful to the City of Haapajärvi for the invitation, warm hospitality, openness and commitment to developing a strong friendship and partnership with the Apostolove Community.
